What if I can't afford your rate?

If you cannot afford my rate, contact me anyway! I am willing to work with you and explore an affordable arrangement. When this is not possible, I can collaborate with you to refer you to someone that can meet your financial needs.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider which means I do not take health insurance coverage at this time. However, you can request a "superbill" in the hopes of you being reimbursed by your insurance for services. Please contact your health insurance and inquire about out-of-network services and if/how much they can reimburse you.

What happens if I miss a session?

Life happens so this is understandable. However, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you have a late cancellation or do not attend your session, there is a $50 fee. If there is an emergency or you cancel before the 24-hour period, there is no fee.

What can I expect?

  • At Aviv, all sessions are virtual.

  • Weekly sessions set aside specifically for your needs.

  • Sessions will be from a Christian counseling perspective.

  • Mental health assessments may be required at times to enhance treatment.

  • You will receive personalized treatment plans tailored to your individual needs, goals, and values.

  • If needed, sessions in Spanish can be requested.

Where should I be for my telehealth sessions?

It's important to be located in the state where I am licensed or permitted to practice. You do not need to be at your home but you must let me know where you are located and provide the address at the onset of the session. This is for your safety in case you experience an emergency during your session. You also want to make sure that you are in a private space with minimal distractions as this is your time.

How long should I be in therapy?

There is no definitive answer to this. Some clients see that after 1-2 sessions, that's all that is necessary. However, other clients decide to stay long-term (Over 25 sessions) and this is okay too. We will work together to best assess your needs.
